Dear Friend!

Lars Ettarp |
World Psoriasis Day is an international initiative spearheaded
by the International Federation of Psoriasis Associations
(IFPA)
and is designed to unite the more than 125 million people
around the world with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis
in celebration on one day each year: October 29.
More than 40 local, national and international patient associations and
support groups are active in celebrating World Psoriasis Day - and the
numbers are growing. World Psoriasis Day is a truly global event that
gives people with psoriasis an international voice. The celebration of
World Psoriasis Day is open to every organization and individual.
World Psoriasis Day is the most important and successful awareness
raising activity of IFPA and the member organizations. Explore this
website to find out more about who is involved and what is happening for
World Psoriasis Day in your country this year. Together we can make
World Psoriasis Day a huge success!
IFPA is also focusing on improving medical care, increasing cooperation
between the medical profession and patient organizations, greater public
understanding and more research to improve the lives of people who live
with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. One example of this is the
World Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis Conference. IFPA organized this
conference earlier this year in close cooperation with the medical
profession and it was attended by 650 delegates coming from 47
countries. Please also visit the IFPA website (www.ifpa-pso.org) to
learn more about our work and our achievements.
Kind regards
